Let's Get Naked!

There used to be a time when being a celebrity is determined by one’s outstanding achievement, even in the movie industry, you must have played the lead or supporting lead role in that awesome film that just smashed the box office, to be noticed, or shown great talent at your own little role; a singer gets the public attention by pulling an almost impossible fit, with his vocal prowess or creative dance moves...or having the highest album sales...like, going platinum! All things best, are always done right, right? Well, not anymore.


...and ladies with the nice and curvy body only get to strip for a photo-shoot for those big agencies, of course, with the big pay...all business, professional models! Uhh, I don’t think it is that way anymore, they don’t even need to be models to strip anymore, they don’t even need to be paid to get all nude, to hell with the photo studios and the photographers, they are perfect at selfies this days, trust me...all it takes them to produce a good quality erotic ‘model portfolio’ selfie is the comfort of their rooms, no costumes (of course they are always naked) and a good phone with good quality camera plus flash. NOTE: PHONE MUST HAVE PHOTO EDITING APPS LIKE, CAMERA 360 AND ‘PHOTO EDITING STUDIO’. Little wonder they are always spotless with no blemishes...only in the images though.
The truth is, they become popular because we let them. We criticize, insult and talk about their foolishness on social networks, but they don’t care...so long we are TALKING ABOUT THEM, that is what they want, makes them popular.
We can forgive Miley Cyrus; she was already a celeb before she went wild and she stuns us with her talent, plus we have always thought the whites not to have moral or cultural values (I have seen and met some who have those), but how do we explain Maheedah? A celebrity with no accomplishment, who have never hit the mark of ‘excellence’ in any field whatsoever; honestly, she is not in any way hot or near sexy...and am sure she’s got no even skin tone... and...yes, her music sucks!...BUT...SHE DON HAMMER!!!
She tried and succeeded, and what remained of our good girls went bad...she made it the easy way, ‘just get nude and make it’. They are far sexier and hotter than she is, she made it, why won’t they?
And so I am still wondering why all these came to mind this morning, could be that I am uncool with the kinds of pictures I see most of my female contacts on BBM and FB upload this days, one actually has over fourteen thousands followers on twitter...what does she tweet? You already know.
I swear, hunger go kill all these people if na only me dey this world; you snap naked pic, ehen? Wetin concern me? Am used to seeing mad women on the street, your own madness just went ‘social’ on the networks, no big deal.
How did kim kardashian become a celebrity? Afrocandy? Mahee...mchew!!!
