PASTOR PASTOR

I was seriously concentrating on making this tiny dress for a four year old girl when comfort said something that caught my attention.

"All this pastors kraaa,won't they just go and rest and allow us concentrate on worshipping God,instead of distracting us with their every day press issues and sex scandals".

I raised my head and answered in one word as I always do;

     "Explain".

She glanced at her phone briefly and said;

    "You know obinim?"

     "Pastor Obinim?" I asked.

With a look of irritation on her face;
        "Yes,that perv.come and read this thing I saw now."

I stood and walked over to her.She handed me the phone and I was surprised at what a "Bishop" said.Even his wife who's a gospel singer had gone on tv weeks ago to beg ladies to stay away from her husband.

After reading that article,I wondered if he should still be called "a man of God" or if he should still have a church. I complain of Nigerian pastors and how they buy private jets and live "the life" when most of their church members can't afford a three square meal or even pay for their kids to attend the schools that the so called churches have built.

Its ok that they haven't come to rub it in our faces directly even though they have done it indirectly a million times. I think Pastor Obinim has reached the limit by coming out publicly to defend himself in a really "not sober" way. His words exactly ;

"I am called God.I don't regret sleeping with my junior pastor's wife for four years. Her 'thing' is sweeter than my wife's own'.

He said this on radio...I feel a lot of shame for his wife.That's a picture of his wife and of him being arrested for vandalising a radio station.

If you can't stay true to God,don't call yourself a pastor or a man of God..its not by force.
