When Dreams Unfold

I always tell people to follow their dreams not that of their parents or friends because in the end its still your life.I followed my dream and am still following it.Atimes it makes me so happy that I feel like jumping out of my skin.Other times,I get so angry and I feel like tearing off my skin and I just sit looking like the dummy right in front of me.You must be wondering what would be making me feel that way.I SEW.I love to sew and make beautiful cloths for people and watch their happy faces when they come for fitting.That alone gives me joy.Other times,a client would come and say:

      "Ah Ah,I didn't say long sleeve na,I said short sleeve besides I didn't know this my fabric was like this,you should have added french lace."

And I would stand there with my butt pressed against my table,my tape rule around my neck,my left hand pressed on my stomach and my right hand massaging my forehead and swallowing ungratefulness.Then i'd say;

"Am sorry dear.how would I have known you would want the french lace?Next time,i'll make it better.Wear it first so you'll tell me what to change".

She hadn't even worn it!
She'll come out minutes later(she spent the whole time admiring herself in a cloth she claimed not to have liked *biggest yimu*)...then say;

"Chioma o chioma...this is beautiful.you didn't tell me sef.You see why I call you my beautiful Nigerian princess.come and zip it for me oo"

And I would stand there with my lips cornered and my raised eyebrow and she'll say;

"Don't vex for me o..you know u can't stay angry at me."

TRUE! I can't stay angry at her or anyone who needs my services.It's what I love and I do it with that love and the passion that drives me.I don't know what today holds for me.I always come happy and go tired and happy or tired and slightly happy.Whatever it is,am ready for it and i'd definitely tell you.
Oh! The end of that story was that she paid for the dress(normal) and bought me lunch for making me sad for 40seconds.*winks* So now you know.
